The Automotive Historians’ Dinner in Paris – 2nd February 2016

This year’s Automotive Historians’ dinner was another great success: 40 guests from 10 countries met for excellent food, lively conversation and the making and renewing of contacts.

Kit Foster of the SAH presented awards for outstanding books published in 2014:

  • The Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot Award, English Language to Peter Larsen and Ben Erickson for J. Saoutchik, Carrossier, published by Dalton-Watson Fine Books
  • The Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot Award, Language other than English, to Jean-Louis Loubet, for lifetime contribution to automotive history
  • The Cugnot Award of Distinction for books in language other than English to Christian Suhr for Ikarus – Busse für die Welt, published by Verlagkraftakt.
