The superb Louwman Museum in the Hague has just sent us an announcement of its summer exhibition ‘Supercars of the 90’s’ running from 5 July to 1 September 2024.
It will do exactly what it says on the tin: exhibit some of the finest Supercars of the 1990s. The Louwman Museum has managed to assemble an impressive collection of super sports cars. Many of the cars have never been seen before in the Netherlands and one or two hardly ever see the light of day.
The attached press release lists the cars, which include exotic production cars such a the Bugatti EB110 Super Sport, limited editions such as the McLaren F1, homologation specials such as the Mercedes CLK GTR Strassenversion and prototypes such as the BMW M8 E31.

In addition to this exhibition, the Lowman Museum is very well worth visiting; it was the venue for the second European Conference for Automotive History, organised by Anders Ditlev Clausager of the SAHB and Thomas Ulrich of the German AHG in 2019 – and we experienced the quality of its collection and the excellent display of each car.
If you can get to the Hague, try to get to the Louwman, in particular on these dates – it will be well worth it.
