Laurin & Klement was a Czech motor car, motorcycle and bicycle manufacturing company founded in 1895 in Mladá Boleslav in the Kingdom of Bohemia by motoring pioneers Václav Laurin and Václav Klement. Car production commenced in 1905, and the company soon became the largest car manufacturer in Austria-Hungary. It was acquired by the industrial conglomerate Škoda Works in 1925 and re-branded as Škoda Auto.
The 110 model was launched in 1925 under the Laurin & Klement name and continued as one of the first Škoda models after the merger with the Plzeň-based Škoda company. It was powered by a 4-cylinder engine of 1,791cc.
As can be seen from the spare wheel on the running board of this car, the wheels on this 110 have a more convenient system for tyre changing, introduced in the 1920s, with six screws along the circumference of the rim. The central part of the wheel remains in place and only the rim and tyre are replaced.
