Can you identify the date and the people in this picture?

Another picture unearthed by SAHB chairman Barry Blight.  he would be most grateful for any information on it – in particular the year and who the two people are with this grand array of prizes.

The car in the background seems to date it to the 1950s, and the Circuit of Ireland Trial (named on the plate on the car) became a Rally in 1956 – so the period seems to be between 1950 and 1955.

Can anybody help?  If you can, please let us know through the “Leave a Comment” facility at the bottom of this post.

Any information would be much appreciated.

One response to “Can you identify the date and the people in this picture?”

  1. Lee Hitchin says:

    Hi Barry
to state the obvious, this MG was first registered in May 1949 and the last V5 was issued in 2011. I found a picture of this car on Flickr dated the 17th June 2018 at a classic car event, so it appears to be out there still, good luck with your search.
