A Pretty Prewar Peugeot

You walk along the road and don’t expect to see anything very interesting.  Then you alight on this little masterpiece.  The owner very kindly showed us round.

The Peugeot 201 was built from 1929 to 1937. This one is from the early 1930s and has the independent front suspension introduced in 1932.  The details are a delight: the delicate saloon coachwork; the Art Deco dashboard; the headlamps; the cloth interior – these are just some of the treasures we observed.

We hope you enjoy this gallery.
