A new book on private book publishing

The Michael Sedgwick Memorial Trust is a powerful supporter of authors wishing to publish books on British motoring history.  They also support our own Michael Sedgwick Award for such books.  They have just told us of a free 112-page booklet from Short Run Press, “Books are in our DNA”, which gives some practical assistance to authors, concentrating on options of print, printing terminology, paper quality and weight and other practical considerations concerning the creation of a book.  The MSMT has done a lot of work with Short Run Press in the past.

Note that this publication is free, and can be obtained from Short Run Press at 25, Bittern Road, Exeter EX2 7LW.  They can be contacted at shortrunpress.co.uk  or on the phone: 01392 211909.
